    Rear weight.

I put a piece if 2 x2 tube through the lower part of the drum and welded another to it vertical. I then welded the pins to the horizontal tube. With concrete and 5 or 6 large rocks it came out just over 1000 lbs.

    Miter Saw Shopping

I have that craftsman radial saw. Bought it 40 yrs ago. I use the crap out of it. It will rip, crosscut, angle cut, can use a dado blade. Can also take the blade and guard off and turn the head sideways. There is a spindle opposite the blade that you can get a router bit attachment for. Then...

    Big ol grinder.

The big stop switch is for your knee when sh#& goes south. It's ugly, but I'd leave it.

    Go-Jo original formula

I get my hand cleaner from the Cintas truck. Walnut shell. Works better the goop or go jo. Unlike them it does need water. Little goes a long way. Rub it in and add a little water. Rub some more then rinse. The last one I got the driver just gave it to me, said happy birthday.

    Cows, cords, and chewing

I made a u out of 1.5 inch pvc and 2 90°elbows. It goes from the ground, up over about the third rail and down to almost the bottom of the tank. Cord goes through it. A bolt through drilled holes on the upright flat strap. I have horses and one of them chews everything. Well, had. He passed last...

Finally found a solution to my rat problem

Look up rat trap hood. Could make one with a milk carton or bleach bottle and a heat gun. Have seen people use a piece of pvc pipe cut in half over the bait.

    Stupid screwdriver handles

Last time I got new I got Mac. They are the same shape as my old snap on, just red instead of black. My black snap on from 1986 the handles crumbled. Got the new snap on set a few years ago exchange. Big and bulky. No rubber on mine. Can get a good grip on them, but just don't like them as well...

    Feeder steers and diamond rings

Bought my girl a 1/8th carat diamond. In 1980 think it was $179. She has since had several, but still has the first. Biggest one was when Montgomery Wards was closing. 1.5 carat vvs1 princess cut stone for $875. Got it appraised for insurance at $6000. Bought a 2/3 c at a pawn shop 6 months ago...

    Oil for vintage electric motors

I use Supco, zoom spout. What a furnace man recommended. Furnace in vacation home had oilers on both ends of the blower motor. Works a long time to quiet squeaky hinges too.

    Tree winch

I have the next one bigger. Used it to pull a bunch of logs out of my creek. Also made a plate to go on trailer hitch. Welded a 2 inch square inside tube to my tractor bucket.

    Nuts For Horse Drawn Wagon

I have stood the nut on its side a smacked it with a small hammer, before threading it on. It won't back off then. Doesn't take much of hit to do this.

Ive been converted im now a believer

B12 is good stuff. Been using it for years. Works great to clean a carb too. All solvent, no mineral oil like sea foam. Sea foam was developed for 2 cycle outboards that need oil.
