1978 John Deere 510C backhoe ring gear replacement
Does any one have an idea of the hours involved to split this tractor? What is the engine rotation direction? Having removed the starter I discovered that the starter stud nut was never put on. 1978 John Deere 510C backhoe ring gear replacement
Ring gear is done. Seems to me if I remove the front counter weight, take the fan off, take battery cables off and a few other things remove the bolts that I could slide it forward an inch. Which would be enough to remove the bolts and remove it, drop it out the bottom. Has anyone ever tried...- Richard Webber
