    I don't know if they ever took delivery of ear corn, but our local elevator used to bring their sheller out and shell it out of the crib into the truck to haul back to town.

    Gas under $ 2.00

    $2.21 in Vinton this afternoon. Probably $2.10-2.15 up the road in Independence. They're always a bit cheaper.

    'Must depend on where you are. The last few shows I've been to, particularly the one last month, were very well attended. I've always found the crowd at the local shows to be very polite, even when the aisles are crowded. I'm looking forward to the one coming up in November. I'll be the ARs...

    Ok we did age and jobs, now how about

    Just 1 8N. I live in town and if I had all the tractors I want the neighbors would probably shoot me. As it is, they just think I'm crazy for keeping the 'N underneath my crab tree or parked on the front lawn.

    I"m retired now, but I guess the only job I miss now and then is the one I had in the Navy; Communications Technician (CTR).

    O/T gun question but used on the farm

    Same country, same caliber, but two totally different guns. Cheaper Than Dirt has folding stocks and extended mags for the SKS if that helps.

    I was at an auction of Friday where a very nice condition 4366 went for $3000, and an even newer CIH 4WD rig sold for $2100. The Ford 640 I went to look at sold for $4200.....
