    I would suggest that after you sandblast, blow all the loose sand and dust off. Try to have a clean area to paint. My opinion is, don’t spend to much on paint. Example- I just spent $500 on paints,primers,thinners etc. and my neighbor spent $75 on Tremclad didn’t need any primers or thinners and...

    Thank you for your insight to my problem. You are probably right that it’s either one of two problems or maybe both. I’m using industrial paint and adding a few drops of reducer to lay the paint down a bit. Maybe not enough because yes there is some orange peel.

    My repair from yesterday looked good this morning so I put some 320 wet sandpaper to it, on a 10” block and sande it smooth. Then roughed it up slightly with some 240. I shot a nice thin coat on and waited 45 to dry. Then a second coat. It looks way better now. I’m leaving alone and coming...
