    front shoe bushings MH60 ?

    simple solution. I took a 1 1/2" holesaw and made a hole in the left side. The only tricky part is lining up the hole with the pin accurately. The most difficult part is getting half way inside the machine to reach the nuts on the bushing clamps.

    Anybody used (using) a IHC model 82 pull type combine ?

    I don't have an 82 (or 80) either. I do have a A-C 72. It sits in the shed while my MH 60 gets used. The 72 has 100 places to grease it and does not have a lot of courage. The small diameter cylinder seems plug easily. It does do a nice job on beans without breaking many.

    Ha ! That's why I never take both brakes apart at the same time. This seems like a perky little tractor when the governor works. Thanks to everyone for all the help. Now I've got to work it a bit.

    Moving the PTO lever only causes a grinding noise. It is doing something inside because it doesn't grind all the time. Is disassembling the PTO as straight forward as it appears in the manual ? Any chance of dropping the shift collar when pulling the PTO ?
