Thanks for responding, may give that a try. Also, do you know if any of the head bolts go thru any water jackets?

    1954 NAA

Hello Folks, been awhile since I've been on here. Anyway, I have a 1954 NAA, 134. Tractor had been sitting outside for about 20 years. Had some bent pushrods, and stuck valves. Pulled the head, all bolts came out except one. Wouldn't you know it. Anyway started drilling, used an easeout...

    Brake shoes for TO-20

You might want to order that rivet installing tool also, it makes it a lot easier. The least expensive one on that page will work fine. There's a few ways to tell a TE20 from a TO20. If the transmission case is made from an aluminum type material it's a TE20, that's just one way to tell.

    Brake shoes for TO-20

I guess you're sure it is a TO 20? I had a TE20 and it had larger drums than a TO20. The drums you mentioned sound like the same size as a TE20. I couldn't fine shoes for the TE20, but you can get linings for them and rivet them on yourself, not hard to do. I might be wrong, but believe this is...

    TO20 hood release

Thanks for the responses. My 1950 TO20 has that release also, but our '51 TO30 does not. Was just wondering if some of them just rusted away, or if some didn't even have them. And yes Tom, my parts book doesn't show it either.

    TO20 hood release

I think you are right about the hood support on the TE20. But, I'm talking about the hood release that lets you close the hood. It's located in front of, and slightly below the radiator.

    TO20 hood release

Just curious, did all the TO20 and TO30's come from the factory with the hood release mechanism? Not talking about the one at the dash, but the one down in front of the radiator, that you have to push to close the hood.

    RJfromGA Hupp

I think maybe the wife might have knee problems after running thru all those gears. But the thought of all those gears is kinda cool. Sorry about your problem, good luck with it, and yep, that should impress them.

Thanks Bruce. One more question. If in fact it is the high range Hupp, would that mean that the underdrive gear would also have a higher ratio than the low range Hupp? Thanks in advance.
