    oliver camshaft

I have a camshaft number 222023a that is supposedly out of an 1800 that I was told will go in a 88. But the number on it is 190223. Will these two cams interchange or do I need one out of an 88 only?

    Ford 460 engine

I had an 83 F-250 4x4 with a 460 4Barrel auto trans and 355 gears, got 8mpg pulling 20 ft gooseneck and tractor. Traded for an 89 f-250 4x4 460 EFI with same gears and trans, only got 5.8 mpg with same load! Neither had the guts in the catalytic converter. Would pull anything I put behind it though!

Usually if contacts are burning and pitting it is a bad condenser, or at least that has been my problems.

Pretty...

    Somewhat O/T - Fabrication

There was one at the Missouri River Valley Steam Engine Show in Boonville Mo. last year. It was a cabover pete if I remember correct, with a flat bed trailer and he drove it around. I believe he even had a tractor or something he hauled on it.

Putting in a goose-neck hitch anyone done it?

Go with the B&W hitch. I have installed several of them and usually only have to drill maybe 2 holes besides for the bed hole, most of the time don't even have to drill any. I have had the flip up style and had trouble with it sticking in the down position, could not get enough grease in it!

Way OT 92 Deville bad rear end vibration

It sounds like you have a tire with a slipped belt. Have some one drive the car real slow and watch the rear tires. If they have a bad belt they will look like an "S" kind of, just not that sharp of curves. It will make the car shake side to side and vibrate very bad at higher speeds.

    block size

I have an engine block that I need to figure out what it is. The number on it is 106085AA, 221020F 2122. Is this a 310 block, 283, or 265? Or are they the same depending on bore and stroke? Thanks for your help
