Ford 7740 SLE Powerstar
I too have a 7740 with the same problem.Works fine in forward but grinds when shifting into reverse and also pops out of reverse.I believe the problem is a worn reverse synchronizer, which requires transmission disassembly. Not a cheap fix.- RLWILD
