    I can just use a screwdriver (or a piece of 0 gauge wire) to connect the terminals to turn the starter over correct? used to work well with my old mustang.

    I'm very mechanically inclined with the newer cars today. So how hard would an old tractor be? not familiar with a pivot pin on a tractor, is it part of the front mount hydraulic pump? or part of the steering assembly?
