    Speake, AL Tractor Show?

I have seen mention of a show in Speake, AL this weekend (Jul17) but can't find any info about it anywhere. By chance, is there anyone on here that knows anything about the show? If not, does anyone know of any good shows in the TN/AL area this weekend? I have been out of town, etc for the...

    OT,NY hitch law

I pull my receiver bar out when not in use as well - I just don't like the looks of it being in there. OTOH, I am not a fan of a law requiring it though. Robby

    Nice project for someone.

I would imagine that would take some serious $$ to restore Robby

    AC- Decals.

On the sides of the radiator shell. I have seen it at the top, middle and bottom BUT according to the original brochures, if you were to draw a line in the middle, it is about 2" above that line.. Robby

Removing steering wheel on B model

The steering wheel on my 1940 B doesn't look so good so I bought a new one. The question is - how is the best way to get the old one off. Will a gear puller work or.....? Thanks Robby

OT/not to beat bluegrass to death

When I listen to Bluegrass these days I think of the Alan Jackson song about country music where he sings ' Someone killed country music, cut out it's heart and soul, they got away with murder, down on Music Row" I think the same can be said about Bluegrass. I love true Bluegrass and enjoy...

Strange battery issue with Farmall A

I took the battery out to charge because it was low and the best way to charge it was to put it on a long slow charge

Tragic traffic accident. Not tractorbut trailer related

One of my major pet peeves are those who take no real caution when pulling atrailer. They don't hook up safety chains, they don't worry if the lights are working or not, etc. - as long as the old truck will pull the trailer they think they are good to go  If it is found that the...

Strange battery issue with Farmall A

Yes i have had the wiring checked by someone else to verify it is correct. The ammeter is showing charge; however, after sitting for a week or so, it is clear that the votlage is low enough that it will barely start the tractor. In fact at the show this past weekend, it would barely start...

Strange battery issue with Farmall A

I have a 1941 A and has been totally restored but I am having a charging/electrical issue. It is still on the 6V system, rebuilt generator, correctly wired, etc but it doesn't seem to want to stay charged like I think it should. One thing I have noticed is that after letting it run a while...

OT: Feel like I am losing my heart

I am not going to do like some here and tell you she has found someone else or that she is about to dump you or anything like that because I do not knwo her and most likely no one here does either. With that said, I will say this. Having been married for nearly 20 years, I will tell you that...
