    I have a JD 400 Industrial gasser that had a similar problem once. Chased it for a while. Turns out the 12v primary wire from the distributor to the coil had a break in it. It would make contact then loose it depending on the bump I hit. Replaced that wire and solved the problem. Point is to...

    Grease it and run it. Grease it often. Drop the whole assembly out and see if the shaft is worn. I have seen them wore half way through.

    The installation materials can add significant cost. We purchased a used Kohler 24kw water cooled unit a couple of years ago and I did the install. The electrical wire and gas line came to about $1,000. Most of that was the gas.

    Profit margins on a basic trailer like that are razor thin. Even one in good shape around here doesnt sell for much. Everybody wants one with a tack room, interior lighting, etc.

    Appears to be the standard universal suspension seat. This site has them as do many others. TSC and other box stores have them also. Little over $100.

    Adding a skidsteer style quick connect to a tractor.

    I beleive you can get the bare plate, unbolt the square tube frame from the angle iron pieces then weld the skid steer plate to the angle iron.

    I have a 10 year old set on a Ford 4000 (4 cyl) that are holding up great. These are the Earth Pro 45 R-1 model. I mostly bush hog, box blade, and plow a few gardens.

    Spike Tooth Harrow Questions

    I have a small one but use the chain harrow more often. Both work to smooth a field after discing it. They both can be used to cover grass seed or deer food plot mixes. The chain harrow works better for this.

    Hooking up a gooseneck to a crew cab pickup

    My truck has a sliding rear window so I use the bar in the middle of that to center up the trailers hitch. Using the rear view mirror I judge the distance from hitch to tool box. Usually pretty close on the first try.

    Looks like the new gear is broken to me also. Try rotating the engine by hand to see if it is stuck for some reason.

    I have been watching for one of those a while now. Some did have scrapers. New scrapers will most likely be like hens teeth.
