    600 Oil Pressure

Thanks guys. I just ordered a gauge from YDT. I think the gauge in it now is the one that it came with.

    D15 HP

Own a D15 series II. Think it is a 1966 year mod. Doubt it's ever been bored, and was wondering if anyone would know what the horse power rating would be.

    D15 Allis won't start

Update on D15. It's running like a charm. Replaced plugs, points, condenser, and dist cap. The old points and cap did not look so good, but it did the trick. Did not have to go into carb. Thanks to all who shared their opinion.

    D15 Allis won't start

Thanks guys for all the input. I bought new points condenser, cap, and plugs today. I also plan on replacing the wires. Did not buy a rotor yet as the old one cleaned up real well. I plan on getting back to it next week. By the way, what GAP should I use on those points? I will be sure let you...

    D15 Allis won't start

I'm kinda confused. I always thought if points were firing the condenser & coil was good. Carb probably does need cleaning, but until I get fire to plugs, gas means nothing. I probably should do a full tune up. New plug wires, plugs, dist cap and points as well as condenser. This is the first...

    D15 Allis won't start

I cleaned them and got spark. Also checked with test light and it comes on when points are opened.

    D15 Allis won't start

Tractor hasn't been started in a year. Tried today with no success .I'm getting fire thru coil and fire thru points but none at spark plugs. I cleaned the rotor and plug wires, but no luck. Pecked on the carb and it started a little drip at bottom, but plugs were not wet. Should I get new...

    Jube water pump

I put a new pump on my 600 about 12 years ago and never a problem. For cost VS rebuild, I would go the new route.

    850 just quit running

I would think generator would keep fire to points. Have a 600 6 volt that I jump start and runs fine with dead battery. Did have same problem once and I jiggled switch ignition key and all went fine. I would put charger on battery, check that you are getting fire to points. If not back track. I...

    Bush Hog Leaks Oil

I have an old 5ft lift up Ford bush hog that leaks oil pretty bad in the top where the drive shaft enters. Was wondering if there is a seal in that location and how hard is it to replace?

    Ford 600 ignition points

I don't use my 600 all that often, but when I do it seems I have a film on the points and must be cleaned each time after it sits over a month. Are there an solutions to keeping the film off the points? The cap and rotor all seem to be tight.

    ford 600 series hydraulics

I had that same problem with my 600 a few years ago. Always had to bleed the pump. After checking everything, the thing that fixed it was rebuilding the pump itself.

    600 ignition switch

Have to jiggle my key to get fire to the points on my 600. Will any auto on and off switch work as a replacement?
