I've been gone for several days. I check in here and find this posting. My list hasn't changed much. I did add the 5297 finally. Who ever started this roll call, thanks about time it was updated.

    Grandfathers F 20

Can't seem to get a wrench in the right position. Decided to modify an old wrench to make this job easier.

    Roger - MM 5297

Since you asked. I have managed to get the header off and home. Cut a few trees in preparation of getting it out. Tires are aired up. I have made a stiff hitch to clamp to the rear axle to pull / push it with. Hydraulic hoses and fittings to go into the steering cylinder so I can steer it as it...

    LP tanks

I am curious as to why you want to drain the fuel out of the tanks? As for cleaning them you shouldn't have to do that. Valves and gauges are still available. Parts for the regulators and carbs are still available depending on what brand you have. Tractor tanks do not need to be pressure tested...

    Cockshutt 545 Combine

Three things. 1. This looks like the mate to my 4296. I need it. 2. It is near the town of Winfield in Alberta. Mapquest says Winfield Ks. to Winfield Ab. is only 1759 miles or 29 hours driving. 3. 71fordf100 owes me. And here I thought going to Grand Junction Colorado for a combine was a...

    71fordf100's MM 570 Customatic

I have so much going on in my life that I'm not sure it will ever get here. I took time off work to help bring this 570 home. Hoping to get on the 5297 in the next 4 to 6 weeks. I am putting up a storage shed to put my toys in and that is taking a lot of my time and money.

    71fordf100's MM 570 Customatic

In January I recived a text from 71fordf100. He wanted to know if I would help bring a Minneapolis Moline 570 Customatic combine from the west slope of Colorado across the divide to his home in Wyoming. OH YEAH ... I was ready for this adventure. Several years ago he bought an MM corn sheller in...

    Delta Red

Made the 1256 mile run thru Wyoming and into Colorado to help 71fordf100 bring his Minneapolis Moline 570 Customatic home this past weekend. We had some extra help, Delta Red (Steve) and his lovely wife Susan came along to help. They spent most of their day helping load. This guy knows how to...

    G1000....50 years ago.

This is my G 1000 Wheatland LP Gas. Nothing fancy, plain and simple, tough and durable, it would get the work done. I am the second owner. Bought the G 1000 and a 5 bottom Moline plow from the original owner in the Oklahoma panhandle.

    Ageless Iron

Yes, 3 gear shift levers. The 5 speed on the floor, the 2 speed drop box lever on the right side of the dash and the 2 sped torque which is right next to the drop box shift lever. It is really handy for pulling an 8 ton fertilizer spreader. The Lazy Hired Man Contest. The tractor driver goes...

    806 LP progress

What did you use to make the LP tank ? I need to make a front mount tank for my G 1355 Moline. Thought about using PVC to make it.

    Ageless Iron

Keep in mind the writer is a retired preacher from the city. Brown Mule with a Hercules - No. Super 77, yes but on gasoline. The A4T 1600 with a 20 speed, it sure is factory. 5 speed gear box, 2 speed drop box with a torque amplifier. There is an external oil pump mounted under the oil pan on...

    New to this.

Thanks for the advice. I plan on going to the Gateway show in St. Louis. Trying to keep the toys to the ones I farmed with, some odd ones have slipped in. I am looking for 1/16 scale implements mostly. I bought this JD oneway with the intentions of making it into an Oliver. Bought the decals...
