OT - Wiring my Workshop, Input on 220v needed

Ed, It's very possible you have three phase wiring. If the working farm had grain bins and dryers, to my knowledge, most of those needed 3-phase.

    OT Tecumsah troubles

Had one that soundes like it ran the same way on a Sears lawn and garden tractor. Took it to a shop and the mechanic said it was running lean. He cleaned and put a kit in the carb and it runs pretty good. Tecumseh'a seem to be a little fussier than some to get them to run right. Good luck.

    jubilee rear seal question

My son-in-law has a Ford pickup that was leaking oil, they thought from a seal. The place he has his oil changed added a product from WYNN'S that softens and swells the seal. Last I heard it stopped the leak. Can't find out more for you right now, he's gone snowmobiling.

    compression tester

In tvz's post about running out of idea's, Bruce suggested he check the compression and to read #46 of the 50 tips. That is where it says to go to a plumbing place to buy an elbow.
