    I adjusted the clutch today. The bolts were loose and way off. At least 200 thou. for each of them. I could only adjust to about 120 before the wrench would slip off the heads. But the clutch works great now. No more grinding.

    Well, I got the crossmember down. That was a bit of work for a one-man-job. Someone spent some time beefing this thing up a little. The crossmember has two pieces of 1/2" steel welded for support.

    Thanks. The weld repair was limited to the vertical post mount. You can see in image 0039 that on the left side there is only one cross member that goes right across. My first thought was if the loads would be carried by the diagonal cross supports to the engine block. But, better safe than...

    I have a MF165 with a MF235 loader. How much of the loader do I need to take apart to get at the access plate? The cross member is right below the plate. Do I need to provide some jacks to support the loader?

    Help with ID and distributor

    The complete dizzy was purchased for my 6 volt pos. gnd. tractor. The points replacement was for a 12 volt neg gnd tractor.. I purchased new matching coils for both. I did not buy silicone leads.
