I agree - the rad cap is a beautiful piece of art deco.

    Just some nice images

I just got back from visiting with my 2N. I'm a photographer and took some rather interesting shots...I thought my YT friends would enjoy them. http://www.flickr.com/photos/ronndunnett/ Untitled URL Link

    Ford 2N Resto pictorial

I should be clear - while I wanted to do the work myself, what I wanted more was for the job to be perfect. Cal Vance was the sole person responsible for the restoration. Cal is in Medicine Hat Alberta and I cannot begin to express how much he was the right man for this job...

    Presto! The Resto (is complete!)

Cal used Van Sickle enamel. The colour is Ford Dark Gray 475 74. I'm in the process of finding a power coat product to match this colour. The seat of the tractor needs something more durable than regular enamel.

    Presto! The Resto (is complete!)

First, I want to make it very clear - I did not personally do this restoration. I wanted to, but I realized that chipping away at it for a few weeks every year...it would never get done and might just end up laying around in pieces for a long time. The work was done by a man in Medicine Hat...

Very cool! I am so glad there is this - "cult" - of tractor aficionados dedicated to the preservation of this incredible series of tractors.
