    I dont know exactly when it broke, just seen signs of overheating when I pulled it in the barn. I imagine wouldnt take long to overheat with belt off though. I do agree probably more luck than skill in belt breaking timing.

    I have a bad leak on my pto shaft. I have ordered the oil seal for the pto shaft. Can I just remove the 4 bolts on the cap and pull the shaft out? Is there anything I need to be aware of? As far as removing it and reinstalling it. I also see a oring that I should replace also any wisdom...

    Yes it is the original 312259, so it is probably a clutch issue then? Also thanks for explaining the pto adjustment. I will adjust it as you described it.

    Thanks or the reply, yeah I used a piece of wood and if the lower level is on 540 weather the pto cable is in or out I cannot stop it with the piece of wood. Once I turn lower lever to the middle off position then I can stop the pto easily with the piece of wood.

    I finally got the parts I needed to do the pressure readings. My pressures for when band 2 and 3 are on is about 180, band one seems a little low at about 170-175.
