    Very simple, all I had to do was get started. Remove clamps, slide boot to center, slide back the exterior tube. In the front the roll pin will be showing. Knock it out, slide back the drive shaft, take it off the front and then slide it forward off of the universal joint.

    My Ford 1200 has a leaking seal where the driveshaft goes into the front differential. Before I attempt to replace the seals I would like to know for sure how to get the driveshaft tube and the driveshaft removed from the front differential. Any help is appreciated.

    So how does that work out, taping off the tire to keep from painting it. My rear wheels are only 8-16 and I considered taking them off the rims.

    I bought the ford light gray which was all I could find but it is too dark. It is definitely a shade of white on the later tractors.

    I thought I posted this but could not remember my password and I'm not sure it posted. I am looking to match the white paint on my 1982 Ford 1200 tractor. Possibly something from rustoleum or some other easily available brand.

    It appears to me that All the front differential and hubs are is an oil bath that the gears run through spreading it to tge other gears in the system. This is not for hydraulics of any kind. I realize it may be thicker in the winter but I probably will not use it in the winter.
