    I worked in an auto body shop, doing metal work and body repairs. I knew the dangers ssociated with the large hand-held grinders, that they could "catch" in between two doors, or the edge of a fender next to a door. Well, one day i got careless, and that 8 inch disc soon showed me the folly...

    Make my own tie rod sleeve?

    Does "Toe-in" matter that much when used on dirt? Also, could you weld a couple of nuts on the end of the tie rod sleeve, in place of the original threads? Keeping the threads aligned, so you can screw the tie rod end in or out? And, using a lock nut, or two together?

    Electric fuel pump

    Use a vacuum pump. Take the vacuum off the oil dip-stick tube, up near the cap.It DOES NOT PUMP OIL OUT OF THE ENGINE!Much easier, and much better than an electric one! RJ

    Spray gun advice

    Clean gun with laquer thinner. You will need about 45 lbs. of air pressure for spraying paints. Look where the needle goes into the back of the front "head" of the spray gun. One drop of 30 W. and some trigger pulling will probably cure the spitting. Do this wwithout the air hose being...
