Been doing some reading, need a new regulator even if it wasn't messed up it probably is now with the D circuit at the generator and regulator was going up to 24 volts while running the tractor. Hopefully didn't wipe out the 1 year old generator if so no big deal $100 isn't much to swap it... -

Forgot to mention in case someone desides to help troubleshoot. The generator light is functional. Idle it barely glows by 800 rpm its completely off. I just installed a new battery as my napa battery just wouldnt crank the diesel over. -

Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the charging system? My diesel 3000 is partially working. At idle i have 8v at generator armature 12.3v at battery. Put engine at 1,000 rpm and its 16-17v at armature but 12.3v at battery. 1,200 rpm its 20v at armature but still 12.3v at battery... -

Sediment bowl 614421R91 - Dimensions
I was browsing Google for 1/8" fitting sediment bowls for a project I'm working on. I found one here for sale listed for John Deere 1010 and 2010 tractors. Well you are calling me a liar. I tore down a 6.4L diesel for a high volume pump the same high volume pump found on a 6.0. It would not start because it had low volume oil pressure but not high volume oil pressure. The 6.4 is not common rail atleast not all of them. Maybe there were a few... -

Wrong on the 6.4. Have one in the shop right now that has low volume pressure but no high volume pressure. It will not run without high volume pressure as it is not a common rail system. That came in the 6.7 the 6.0 and 6.4 are nearly identical. As far as trust goes, you must have a hard...
