    What do the hood gaps look like? Have you compared measurements from the new to the old rad? You could try making a wedge shaped pad for under the radiator. That should cause the rad to lean rearwards.

    I looked at a cub low-boy a few months ago. Had a bent valve. It doesn't take too much to pull the side cover and look. Do a compression test and go from there.
