Ford 5000 front bracket bolt size

Hello tractor people I have a '69 Ford 5000 and have found a weight bracket to go on front. However, I am uncertain on the bolt size required for the 4 threaded bolt holes on the front end. I think they are 5/8"-11, can someone confirm please. Thanks in advance Lachlan

    Super C fan pulleys

I just came up with another question while working on the tractor. I have two brackets that hold the steering column up, the one that is attached to the hydraulic control tower. One is a long steel tube and one is a shorter cast iron bracket. I looked in my farmall books and some tractors...

    Farmall super c head

Hello again I was in the garage yesterday and I was looking at the head and cleaning it up a bit and found there is a casting date on it. It has a Y for the year which means it was cast the same time as the rest of the chassis parts. So I am thinking the head could be original to the super c...

    Super C Thermostat housing

They are on ebay now and then. Just have to be careful, the super c one is different than the A,B,C one. There is a threaded hole for the temp sensor on the super c and not on the A,B,C one. I think the sensor when into the head on the C and there was no temp sensor on the A and B.

    Farmall super c head

I just realized that I didn't really answer your question. I am sure I have a super c, the block is 354898R2 and the cast years are x and y which is 1952 and 1953. And it has the taller grill and raised gas tank.

    Farmall super c head

In the hundred series book it shows the head number 251172r2 was also used on the 100"s and 200"s in the 1950"s. So I"m thinking it could have been used on the super c"s.

    Farmall super c head

Hello I have a super c that was my grandfathers, I am restoring it and the head had a few stuck valves and very rusty valve seats. The head is part number 251172R2. I found a rebuilt head with the part number 251172R1, it will probably be cheaper to buy then to have the original one rebuilt...

    TD-5 Crawler

Hello I was looking at a TD-5 crawler for sale and the engine is tight and I think the head is cracked. What I was wondering is that if there are any engine options that would work with the smallest amount of headache. I know where a C-135 gas engine is available. Any help would be greatly...
