    I would have to agree. Check the flow of fuel out of the fuel line at the carb. Maybe you are getting just enough fuel to fill the bowl but not enough flow to sustain the fuel level in bowl as the engine is using the fuel.

    Your power steering pump is powered off of the fan shaft which you have probably have already figured out. But I believe that if the pump seal went out on the input shaft of the pump it could leak through the fan shaft tube and into the engine. Therefore you will need to rebuild the pump...

    wheel weight bolts

    I work for a power comapany and we use a lot of square headed bolts. I made some for my old letter series tractors I just had to shorten them some. They are soft bolts but they work fine. I'm not sure what size you are after.
