    I checked and sure enough there are hydraulic line under the housing. The pump is as shown in the Ford Tractor NAA Service and Shop Manual on page 323. If needed , do you think Yesterday's has a refurbished they will sell me?

    Fuel tank leaking

    1953 Ford Golden Jubilee NAA 8N has leaky fuel tank. The tank input port has a low profile. I tried an after market tank (part number NCA9002A) but its input port is to high. I need a NAA 9002-D Tank Assy. (fuel) as shown on pages 112 & 113in the Master Parts Catalog for Ford Tractors...

    On my 1953 Golden Jubilee Fly wheel there are two sets of timing marks both have degrees inscribed. On one side there is an additional BTC inscribed. Which side is used for setting the distributor timing? thanks ever so much! Sam

    I use a lead substitute, It lubricates the valves and doesn't appear to effect performance.

    Today's gasoline does a good job of gumming up the carburetor on the 8N engines. For my newer engines such as my lawn tractor I simply use premium gas. What negative effect, if any will this have on the *N tractor engine?

    Just rebuilt Marvel Schebler B carburetor, only to find it leaks out the bottom. I did not remove anything from this area but evidently there is some packing material that needs to be replaced. Is their something I can do besides buying a different rebuild kit with this packing in it? Thanks Sam
