    To get to the strainer on the gas 720s you have to remove the oil pump, most likely the same case with the diesels. Good thing worth checking.

    Pretty sure the chamfered side faces out away from the gear. Not too sure on the bearing. Did the old one have a groove? Are you positive you have the correct replacement bearing?

    We just purchased a 950 in very nice condition for 7k with a couple implements. No loader on ours though. If everything works good and there are no major problems needing addressed, then listing yours for around 4-5k is reasonable.

    Connecting rod bearings may be worn, on my 720 gas there is an access cover directly above where the crankshaft is. Through there I was able to inspect the rod bearings, wrist pins, and cylinder walls for any wear or damage. Yours may be different though, I'm assuming yours has a pony motor and...
