    Bumper pull Gooseneck.

I did that once with a tri-axel dump trailer. It was fine until I had it loaded with limestone at the quarry, 4 tons IIRC. Broke traction on a hill and didn't have the front hubs locked in so slid back down the hill and into the ditch and a cattle fence. Lost half the gravel and bent the...

    What a mess!!!

I've got almost a mile of gravel lane on our place and I use a landscaping rake every spring to recover as much as I can and to smooth the dirt out. At $35 a ton now for 57's I want it back. I barrowed a Harley rake one year and it scalped the "yard" along the lane and kilt my fescue I had...

    Humor For The Older Crowd

I remember being at a bachelor party back then and the groom ended up saying "I'm drunk and won't shut up " His bride showed up at 2:00 AM to pick him up and he was passed out in the shower dressed with the water on.

    Sowing hay with the 800B.

Clean it up? It looks good in it's work clothes. Nice Brillion, I used to be able to rent a 8' that hauled easy, a buddy has a 10' but it's a bear to pull 20 miles being so wide and is made to plant lawn grass(golf course). A neighbor has a 3pt 4' that's great for planting yards. I've done some...

    Help dating a Cat Ten

I'm not familiar with the Ten but on my 1941 D7M the plate is on the left side of the frame on the back. Maybe to the left of the hitch on that one???

    UH-OH!!!

When I was little and got that muddy my mother would stand me in the washing machine by the back door for a strip down and a prewash.

    Weld a harrow disc??

It's my understanding that a round disk is a disk, a disk harrow isn't completely round but has scallops to it for more cutting surface.

    What is this used for?

I concur with joeysmith, it looks real similar to the plywood piece I use on a ATV rear rack to support the sprayer. the blocks keep the tank feet from crushing when tightening the straps down.

    Plastic twine slipping

Thanks gstout, that's helpful info. I sprayed it last night with belt dressing, it slipped like crazy on the first bale but worked on the following bales. Got it all rolled up for the season now.

    Plastic twine slipping

Correct assumption and that's a good tip, I'll run the wheel by hand the full cycle to check for binding.
