Super 99 GM Diesel Help Please!!

The rack is stuck in the no fuel position. It only takes one stuck injector to cause this. Remove the valve cover and free up all the injectors. Replace them as required. When you restart it with the starter motor put a set of vise grips on the control tube for a handle to over ride the gov and...

Choice of Oliver's for resto over 75 horsepower?

Any MFWD are good merchandise but I have seen a lot of 1850 MFWD. I would go with the 1950-T. Not much cooler than good 1950-T in my opinion. You don't see many of them. Smooth snappy power. They are turbo charged. If diesel engine is not two stroke or turbo charged I lose interest pretty quick.

    Tractor Cab Glass

I recently bought cab class from Gary "the tractor doctor" 715-875-4577. It was shipped to my door and it wasn't very expensive at all. It's tempered glass too.

    Found a mist green 880

It would take more than just an off color on any model to excite me but you make a really good point. Thanks for the input.

    990 Industrial on eBay

Good point about the cooler lines. They do seem to be missing. The torque converter cover is there, you can see the holes were the cooler lines should be coming out. Based on the were the clutch linkage goes in I think it has the torque converter but I have heard some guys put a straight shaft...

    990 Industrial on eBay

If we lifted the covers off the finals and trans what would be looking for? Could you be more specific? I'd like to know what you are talking about. The 995 does not have a different engine spec. What you are probably looking is the last 3 digits after the engine spec and that is a transmission...

    Found a mist green 880

That might be true. If you had a collectable muscle car with a rare color option it would be worth more. Anything that set it apart from the others would. But if you had an otherwise common car that had no real collectable value I don't think the fact that it may have been painted an off color...

    990 Industrial on eBay

A 995 Lugmatic is a 990 with a torque converter added. All 990s and 995s have the 3-71 GM engine. You are thinking of a 950. A 950 had 6 cylinder Waukesha. The torque converter was an extremely expensive option so very few were made making them very rare today.

    Found a mist green 880

It amazes me that an off color somehow makes a particular tractor special. What will they think of next?

    990 Industrial on eBay

It has the torque converter. You tell by the where the clutch linkage goes into the belly casting on the left side. The torque converter moves the clutch back. You can also tell by the way in slows down during the pull in the video but the RPMs never drop at all and the tires have not started to...

    990 Industrial on eBay

I wonder if it really is an Industrial. Other than a straight front axle that could have come off of 6 cylinder Super 99 I don’t see any of the usual industrial features. Don’t the industrials usually have the heavy cast front hubs?

    1950T FWA Cab questions

First off, congratulations on 1950-T. It's awesome. That has to be one of the coolest Oliver tractor of all to have and that looks like a nice one. It's very good merchandise. That's sort of an odd looking cab but the 1950-T FWA sure does look good with that on it. But a 1950-T without a cab...

HPOCA pics **WARNING LOTS OF PICTURES AND SOME VIDEO**

Looks more like a 6V53 to me. Plus the RPM range of a 6V53 would make more sense as a drop in replacement for a 4-53.

Assuming you are running standard camshaft timing you will want injectors at 1.460.

    Super 99 Hyd delete

Gordy, The cover you need is a Detroit Diesel part. It"s not hard to find. It is commonly used on inline and V configurations. Or, you could just remove the coupler between the shaft and the pump and keep the pump for a cover. The hydraulic pump won"t be turning if you remove the coupler. If...
