    990 GM Oliver Engine Question

You need more oil pressure. Your engine won't have any problems running 2150 RPMS. Assuming the oil pressure is what it should be.

    Charles City...40 years ago today...

I remember 40 years ago today very well then even though I would have only been 10 years old at the time. We live in Washington state. I remember coming home from school to find my mother crying. She grew up in Charles City.

    Why buy a diesel?

I know what you mean. I have a 1964 Kenworth, 855 Cummins, twin screw and I get 10 MPG pulling a big 5th wheel travel trailer and I have all the power in the world. The pickups with a similar load on the same trip only get 11-13 MPG and they slow down on the passes and they only go about 300...

    old oliver

I don't know why you want to get a hold of Larry. I recommend you don't attempt to buy anything from him. He may be in jail now. Search this site for "oldoliver", "larry strohl", "larry stole", "pat", "larry stohl". He has other aliases he uses too.

    950 sold

Those must be the rare high velocity air flow grills. The tractor looks kind of sad like it wants to come out and play. I watch Ebay all the time but somehow I never saw that one. Must be slipping. Is you Super 99 GM a 1955? It came with the oil bath air filters so you must have them off to save...
