    Baraboo

I will be there with my wife and daughters. We will bring smaller tractors as we are coming from Michigan. We will have a 1947 VAH, 1966 Case T-90 Utility Transporter (Restored for my 6 year old daughter) and our 1972 Case 220 Black Knight Demonstrator (Restored for my 3 year for my daughter)...

    Old Abe News...When?

Hi Glenn, I am one of the directors for the JICCA so thank you for joining our club. I think you will really enjoy it as our Editor Jimmy Thelen is doing a great job with it. I will be at the Summer Convention for the JICCA in Baraboo, Wisconsin the end of this week and will find out for you...

    1947 Case VAH

The 2 parts that you noted are missing are not too hard to find as they are the same as used on the standard VAC that the VAH is based on. There were a lot of VAC"s build and so you can find the parts you need in many salvage yards around the country. Does the VAH have a good serial number...

What jobs are your Case tractors doing this summer?

Good question. Case 400 is running NH488 Haybine and NH square baler. Case 800 Western Special with loader is moving rocks and will disc and plow with Case CH plow this fall. Case VAH running hay rake. Case 220 mowing lawns and fence rows. And of course Case T90 and the above all going to...

    T190

Watch out, I spoke to this gentlemen last weekend and determined that it is a knock off of a T-90 Utility Transporter. The serial number does not fall in the range of the 52 units built. Have not seen the unit so can not speak to the quality of the knock off. Not trying to knock the guy as I...

    Case-O-Matic slows down

CAEMI, My 800 COM did the very same thing to me last year when plowing and discing. Out of the blue it would slow down quickly and then take back off. Pulled the filter out and cleaned it with gas, new oil and straightened it out completely. Hope this helps. Shane

Tell year of NH 488 by Serial Number?

Is it possible to determine the year of a NH 488 Haybine by the serial number? If so, is there a breakdown somewhere or does someone have this information they could share? Thank you, Shane

Who is going to the JICCA show in Auburn, Indiana

Just wonder who are planning on going to the JICCA winter show in Auburn, Indiana the weekend of March 20-22? It sounds like it is going to be a really great show, a great time to catch up with folks and a great way to kick off the show year.

    FWA on case tractors

In regards to any of the 30 series Case tractors having FWA, the only ones I have seen were 1030's. These were done with an aftermarket kit from Elwood manufacturing I believe. I have only see 2 such tractors in person and not sure of how many were actually converted like that. Hopefully...

JD 1219 or NH 488 Haybine - Which one is better

I am looking to buy a haybine and have narrowed it down to a JD 1219 or a NH 488 at local dealers. They are both in really good shape and comparable in age and pretty close in price. Which one would be a better machine? Seems like there are alot more NH machines around in my area. This is my...

    Power cell inspection

Kurt, I lost your email address from when we chatted on this at tractor club meeting last month. My truck is a total black hole some weeks! To remove the powercell, I just take a 3/8 or so steel ball and place in the cell and come through the injector hole across from the cell with a steel...
