    farmall300 starter

I converted my 300 over to 12V but kept the 6V starter. Was told always use the 6V starter as thye're built heavier due to the higher current of a 6V batter. So if you need a new starter use a 6V even if you are running on 12V.

    Farmall 100 finals question

Doing a restore on the tractor and taped up everything and had an experienced person sand blast the tractor we're pretty confident everything is ok, but going to pull the finals off and flush them just to be sure. So question is, since I'm pulling them off is there anything I should go and...

Woods L59 restoration on Farmall 100

Along with restoring the 100 I'm restoring the L59 mower deck and have a guy who can make the original decals for me however a couple of mine are not readable so hoping some can help out. 1. In red on the left side (as sitting on seat) it says Special L59 Mower Frame PT# and the number is...

Needing a hydraulic bypass block for Farmall 100

Yes it is thanks!! I was searching under Super A, Super C, etc. and all that was coming up were Ebay auctions that were closed. I knew this was going to be like stuff in the pantry that I can't find and wife looks in and sees it instantly.... LOL I'm wanting to add power angle on my A60 blade...

    Farmall 100 gearbox oil question

Gene you are correct all the tractor is going to be used for is mowing, and plowing heavy snow that my Cub can't handle. Went to TSC and got some 85-140 going to fill it and see what happens.

    Farmall 100 gearbox oil question

I just purchased a 100 when driving it on the road in 4th it whine's a lot, noise goes away when I press the clutch, 3rd is less noisy and 2nd is less. Reverse makes some noise kind of in between 3th and 3rd. I drained the gearbox oil and what came out at best was the color of a Wendy's frosty...

Ok back to the Farmall 300 carb a question

Yeah this wasn't full of water but it looked like there was some water in it. Interested to see how it runs now. I know I could tell a difference after I checked and readjusted some of the valves.

Ok back to the Farmall 300 carb a question

Funny you mentioned that since the front end is jacked up as I was repacking the front bearings and waiting for the paint to dry I pulled the cleaner. Oil looked rather interesting and there was some nice crud at the bottom of the cleaner. I bought the tractor off Craigslist last June and...

Ok back to the Farmall 300 carb a question

Thanks. Yeah this tractor has an easy life. Now saw it is the winter and there is a car in the ditch I need to pull out should I open it back up to where it currently is set?

Ok back to the Farmall 300 carb a question

Found in the manual how you adjust it. Since I'm running rich I guess it is the main fuel adjustment screw I need to turn in. Now this tractor doesn't plow anymore. All it does as far as working hard is mow grass with about 2/3 to 3/4 throttle. When I drive it over to my Uncles worm farm to...

Adjusting Carb on a Farmall 300

How does one adjust the carb on a 300? When checking the valves I pulled plug #1 to find TDC and it had a lot of soot on it. Have noticed from the exhaust it looks like it is running a little rich. Runs, fine, just rich.
