    Found a small hole in steering hydraulic return line. New line expensive for me. I tried raping gorilla tape around the spot ,but still has a little leak. Any ideas?

    Found part number for Ford Hydraulic hose. MT40007857 I checked at 3 different place that build hoses they do not have the fittings. Any one have a cheaper price then Messick's $84.46 I have searched the web cannot find any better price.

    I found the part number It is MT40007857. Part is expensive $86.92 Messick's is $84.46 Know anywhere where I can get it cheaper.

    This hose has a crack need to replace it. It is from a New Holland Boomer 50 year made 2012. Hose has partial part number but some numbers missing. Hose goes from steering pump to hydraulic reservoir on left side tractor (driver is seated on tractor). I am a 70 year young lady could use help...

    Oh great. We had a mechanic friend come over he does older cars and he's changed the oil on her tractor. He smelled the fuel the fluid and he said that wasn't diesel fluid .     Thanks you all. Have all sorts of warnings lights but nothing warning of fluid low. It's a very slow leak. Not engine oil because it is to clear for diesel (correct). Thank you

    Think found the source of leak. Bottom of image is a hard hydraulic line with oil on it. The hydraulic fluid is traveling down the side of tractor firewall and ending under the bolt then dripping on the framework to the ground. I will post my progress as I have to get to this source and figure...
