Here is how the belt sits on the pulley with significant pressure against it. This is about as right as it gets. Would take a serious amount of wear before the belt would drop the 8mm or so to the bottom of the pulley. Will look forward to see your setup. 👍 -

On the alt pulley, they may have made a change. This pulley is correct for the 5L belt. I grew up in the day of ammeters. So for period correctness, this is okay. I have a fun electronics project planned for a discreet upgrade. Later down the road. Thanks for you thoughts on the 8N manual... -
