    Not true at all. As an employee of a bank, we will not cash checks for anyone who is not a customer. There is a regulation called Know your Customer. It gives banks a whole set of things that have to documented to do such a transaction.

    Is there and unbiased opinions out there?

    The 8n is the best choice for that list of chores. Parts are easily attained. They are very easy to repair. I have one that we haven"t had any repairs at all in over 2 years. Gas and go. The biggest drawback of a 8n is the speed of reverse.

    I have 1950 8n Front mount. 6v setup. Ran very good. I replaced the head gasket because there was antifreeze in the oil. Now still starts right up but on initial start runs about 2 mins and shuts off. I can restart immediately but then only runs for 15 - 30 secs and shuts off. It shuts off...
