    Don't buy one. It is easy to do without one. Just tighten pressure plate bolts enough to hold the clutch disk from moving underr it's own weight. With a flashlight and a screwdriver move clutch disk up close to center. Then sight along splines of clutch disk, you can move it around with...

    I think that would be great. People could post the things that they would repair and their location. Would really give someone some help with things. A lot of people like and have old tractors, but maybe need some help with different repairs that they are not sure how to do.

    It has a magneto. It starts well I just got tired of it not just turning over fast enough. 6v battery was always low, then I had to hand crank it.

    I got tired of my C not starting so I changed to 12 volt, I fixed up an old 12 volt generator I had and now works well and looks original.

    What is it and how is it used

    I didn't know the model number of the disk. We had two of them on the farm, still do. Of course not used for years. But back when we worked the ground to powder we used them a lot. I would be safe to say that I pulled one several hundred miles, maybe more. Oh those were the days.

    That is the raised lock on a snap coulper/lift arm tandem disk. The disk had a large flat iron spring that the lift arms could raise on which were of course controlled by the traction booster system.
