    Standard motors 23c fuel system

I have a FE35, the British built version of the TO35, with a 23C diesel engine. I have had fuel flow problems, when cracking a fuel line at an injector shows fuel flow, but it did not start, this was due to insufficient flow. I have learnt to check the whole fuel line, the favourite spots for...

    Hauling straw

The video clip shows one of the worst aspects of British farming. The two tractor / trailer rigs are illegal, as the trailers do not have a number plate (Licence tag). I do not understand how owners of the rigs, which are probably worth more than $100,000 each cannot spend $10 on a number...

    To-35 with gold paint

The gold coloured paint o the steering radius rod and front axle looks very similar to the colour of the British built version, the FE35 (Ferguson England 35) which had grey sheet metal work and gold paint on the castings, later becoming the MF35 with red sheet metal work and grey castings.

    Massey 35 w/ the 4-cyl diesel

I have an English built Ferguson 35 with the 4 cylinder 23C diesel. It was a poor starter, when I bought it over 20 years ago. I had an exchange cylinder head fitted, with glow plugs. This transformed the tractor to a good starter. My understanding is that tractors exported to 'cold climates'...

    20C Not Getting Fuel

Check that there is a good flow of fuel at every stage, work from the fuel tank toward the injector pump. On the British built 23C there is a small basket filter in the fuel pipe from the filter to the injector pump, situated where the pipe is fitted to the injector pump. This is not mentioned...

Diesel in the sump MF 35, 23c 4 cylinder

Advice please, I am getting diesel in the sump of my MF 35, 4 cylinder. I have replaced the fuel pump, even though there wa no suggestion of a split diaphragm. This has not helped. What should I be looking ar next?

    Roundabouts

As a Brit, I cannot understand my transatlantic cousins' dislike of roundabouts. Yes, they have to be well designed, but that's why there are highway engineers and you have to know how to use them, but that's why there are driving instructors and driving tests. Anything more than a 4 lane...

Fe35 standard diesel. Leaky banjo fittings on fuel filters

I have a UK built FE35 with the standard 23 c diesel. I had a leak at the fuel filter. It was because replacement copper washers were thine than the original, the bolt was screwed in tight, but not enough to seal the washers. Due to the position, nothing felt loose. Once discovered, I put two...

    MF 35 toolbox

The brackets for mounting the tool box on the radius arm are different, front and rear, as the bar tapers front to rear. https://www.agrilineproducts.com/tool-box-mounting-bracket-straight-each.html Hopefully this link works to show you in the diagram.

    USAAF Memorial

I attach a link to some further information on Deenethorpe. Plenty more if you search RAF Deenethorpe. It is near Kettering, just about as close to East Anglia as you can get but be in the Midlands. While a Royal Navy veteran myself including a more recent war, I have the utmost admiration for...

    Where is everyone from

I am from Holmrook, Cumbria, UK. I have a FE35, used on a smallholding and for vintage ploughing matches. Harry Ferguson was a genius and the Ferguson tractors one of the Great British inventions.
