Woo Hoo - I got it right! I have a fiddle player son, and I own one of these, but can't use it very well. It takes a real talent to spear the post (a short length of spruce dowel) on the pointy end, thread it though the hole on the violin top, and wedge it into place where it supposed to go...- Simplex Tim
