    ATTN: chaskaduo info here

Just seen Chaskaduo's obituary on another forum with the link back to this forum... Have had many conversations with Chask over the last couple years of his life... and had hoped to have met him face to face at some show one day but that will never happen now. There was a thread of missing...

    Vermeer Baler Part Price?

You can go to vermeer and buy a twist in plug for the end of your spring. It is a kit that has all the hardware to replace the broken loop. Almost always the springs break at the top end, and this kit seems to stop that breakage. I have broken my springs many times over the years and then...

New Holland 310 baler. Anyone parting out?

Well, last night I took a more careful look at this baler and dug the hay out of the chamber and thrower, they tried baling 4 bales from the time that they had to have heard the first bang with 2 more bangs along the way. Found out why the plunger didn't stop on the lock, the lever on the...

    New Holland 271 Baler

    The 68, S69, 268, 269, 272, 270, 271, 276, 277, 278, 310, 315, 320 are all 14X18 chambered balers... We had a 68 baler that was traded in for the 273 and that was a good trade, much better baler. The model 280, 281, 282, 283, 285, 286, 420, 430, were 16X18 chambered. Models '99', 290, 500...

    New Holland 271 Baler

Think the 269 was the long pole 268... there was a Super 268, that had a different feed system in it, like the old model 68 I believe. The standard 268 was also belt drive pickup where the 273 was slip clutch... and the feeder assembly was slightly different as the tin work was too. The 270...

New Holland 310 baler. Anyone parting out?

Here is a picture of the needle frame/ needle carrier/ needle holder/ needle yoke mount. Have heard so many different discriptions for that yoke. LOL Think it is slightly bent? LOL I am told the early NH310 needle frame was the only frame for that baler, not used on any other model. Wonder...

    New Holland 271 Baler

This message is a reply to an archived post by RustyS on May 28, 2014 at 18:52:45. The original subject was "New Holland 271 Baler". I am going to hijack this thread and ask some questions. I have been looking at a Super Hayliner 69 and at a New Holland 271... Is there any difference in them...

Oliver 1850 hydraulic troubles... Need some insight..

Well, changed the lines on the saginaw and the steering wheel turnes on its own, but now, at least it will steer some. Probably take another Saginaw we have and try that and see if it works better.

Oliver 1850 hydraulic troubles... Need some insight..

ell today I went over and took a look at saginaw. I see the unite has 4 lines... and I am believing the pressure line is on the left side of unit as you sit in the seat, and I see the return line headed to the cooler on the back side (towards operator) and heads out to the right side... and...

Oliver 1850 hydraulic troubles... Need some insight..

Hot all the way to the end of the oil filter housing. No, I do not believe it has power beyound. Was just thinking about this, the oil cooler out front of the radiator seemed to be cool. How/where does the oil come from to be cooled? from the power steering unit? so if oil is not passing...

Oliver 1850 hydraulic troubles... Need some insight..

Arms were not all the way up to start with, and there were nothing attached to the remotes. We have had the flow divider out and it did not seem to be stuck. "The oil going over the relief valve" That was my first thoughts too but then why have to raise the engine RPMs to get 3pt to work...
