    I ended up adding 5 gallons of hyd fluid and 1 gallon of ATF. Then drove around a bit, raised and lowered lift several times, and ran pto.     Definitely had water in it! Should i pour a couple gallons of cheap motor oil or hydraulic fluid in and start tractor for couple minutes, then drain to flush all that crap out? Maybe raise 3 point 1 time?

    MF 245 steering bracket needed

    I am looking for the part number (or even better the part) that the steering cylinder attaches to. Its a bracket mounted to the side of power steering equipped tractors. Anyone have one or know where I can find one? Its marked with a red X in the pictures.

    My 135 also did that when I first bought it, lots of blowby. After a couple weekends working it cleared right up. Plan to work this one as well once it drys up a bit.

    Well I guess that's your opinion, I have read of several instances where defective injectors do in fact cause white smoke. Compression is good, so will also look into timing. Might take a look at the thermostat as well, if stuck open it seems like it can also cause a problem with white smoke.
