    4610 ford tractor

Ive read your posting several times and believe you are asking about the transmission. I LOVE that trans. I used to do fine yard grading and pulled an eight foot box blade. You'll find that the forward and reverse gears are pretty much the same speed. Most of my grading I did in 3rd or 4th...

    jm. ... KUBOTA

B7200HST ? I was asking about a power steering kit availability. You mentioned something about possibly being able to locate source for me. I realize this tractor is "old", but I sure do enjoy it and wish that it had PS. Thanks for any assistance you might be able to render. [email protected]

    Might need it someday

37chief ... this collecting / saving / hoarding is genetic. Yes ... you said that your dad was NOT that way, but it?s been proven to be a ?recessive? gene and somewhere in your mom?s background there was also a compulsive saver. It is just a quirk of nature that came out in your genetic makeup...

jm. / Kubota guru / couple questions

Thanks for replies... I?ll remember the genuine Kubota fluid when I change oil this fall. I would really appreciate a good lead or two on a PS kit... Snoopnc@gmail(dot)com Thanks again to all that replied

jm. / Kubota guru / couple questions

I have a B7200HST (4 wd) that seems to be getting louder with the HST whine ... hurts my ears at times. I mow at 2000 rpm and like the fuel efficiency at that speed. Tractor has 996 hrs. Is there some additive for trans that will help quieter that high pitch noise?? SECOND QUESTION: My...

    Grader scraper pricing

My favorite tool for grading is my 8ft. box blade behind 4610AP. I believe its a Woods box blade and its "heavy" ? use it as counter weight when doing loader work. You have plenty of HP to handle it. With a box blade, you can "carry" stone with you and it will drop off as needed. Works better...

    brake controller

Years ago ? like 18 - 20 ? I had an ON / OFF switch in the power line to controller. That sure saved a lot of aggravating fiddling around turning brakes down when empty !!

Rock Picking Options with Deere 2010

GROUSE: I understand money can be an issue, but GOOGLE "powered rock rake" and see some of the powered options available. Perhaps you could do a little sideline business after taking care of your own needs. From your posting I gather that rocks are continuing to float to the ground's surface...

    Skunks...

Thanks CASENUTTY ... that was kinda / sorta where my thinking was, but dtr. wanted to hear what the "experts" had to say. We are much more cautious and observant now when walking the service dog and keep her on a leash. To make a minor correction on my original posting ... the "shed" I...

    Skunks...

Any reason why there might be a sudden proliferation of skunks in the area. Only RARELY over the past 30+ years have we even smelled much less seen a skunk. We have seen one or two several times around the past couple weeks. Dtr. says one came towards her last night / early morning when she was...

    Farmall Super AV cultivaters

GARY ... sorry I'm unable to help you with your request, but I wanted to compliment you on the job you've done on your tractor. Mostly, I was very impressed with the wording and the way you wrote your posting. You have a bright future ahead of you.
