    You can safely take 200 thousandths without getting in the water jackets but I'm not sure how much further than that you can go

    I'm currently using 88 Oliver hubs on my super m and didn't need to do any grinding or anything as far as alterations I did go back with new washers and lock washers but so far so good I pulled it as heavy as 8000 with no problems
