PTFarmer, what do you think about this?

Here are some pics of the 1 Fouled pic and the other non fouled pics. I also included a pic of the fouling cylinder and the shoulder that the plug gasket or washer buts up to. In your opinion is it pitted enough that I should concentrate on lapping the shoulder like you suggested might be...

    Cut Tires

harder is definitely better. newer soft tires will "squish" up instead of digging in sometimes, even if cut. Also they're bad to let the lug roll over instead of staying in position and digging in. Either way you go you'll want them cut.

    Keith Merfeld

I have been told by some people who know Keith that he has some "issues" that involve stuff we don't want to be involved with.

    Light flywheel

At the rpm range you're probably going to be running it's not enough to matter. Lighter assemblies are better at high RPM, that's where weight really eats horsepower. At 2000ish it won't matter.

Tim Yates (puller 1)accusing Andy Taylor

you're andy aren't you? because Tim posted his paypal records showing he never received payment. so obviously the problem lies elsewhere.

    Antique puller splits in half

Josh Blackburn said it had to be detonation. I'm not sure what the stroke was but bore was only 6.75"

    1486 question

In the picture can someone tell me exactly what that is near the top with the wire going to it? It's threaded in crooked and oil leaks while it's running. It also appears to be bad because when you grab the wire you can wiggle all the guts around. I apologize for the huge and multiple pictures...

    1951 G

You can go 8.75" on the stroke with JD A rods and not cut the back of the case out. You may have to grind on the back of the rod caps some and shorten the rod bolts and with the stroke/rod combo you will have to grind the top of the case and notch the cam. I don't have much experience with...

    no name tires

We had a set like that. 18.4-38s. No branding at all on them and noticeably bigger than a typical tire of that size.

    Tunica

there's a small mall and some shops around there, enough to keep them busy for a day maybe but the place is really built around the casinos. especially at night its the casinos or nothing. the edges of memphis are about 30 miles north and plenty to do there though.

    John deere G starter

Delco part # 1113278 - used on early Powerstrokes. Bobcat part # 410-12139 Gear-reduction Denso starter off a Deere 8000-series 6081 engine works good. 4430 Deere starter works good too. Supposedly the 5.9 Cummins starters will work too. I've held several of them but never actually tried. They...

Do I Really Need an: Electic Fuel Pump and an Electric Fan?

This is just my opinion...but no to both. if you could do a dyno run with no pump and electric fan, and then one with them, the difference would be extremely minor if any. it might be different if you were turning 4500 rpms. i'd probably save the money from that stuff and put it towards...
