    Plow points

"F41" doesn't come up in a search for JD parts catalogs, so I suggest you start with this guy to identify what you have. Next thing to know is that Deere would have offered perhaps many, many different bottoms for the different model frames, so need to identify the bottoms. Lastly, they're...

    John Deere "plow"

Looks like Timmy has nailed down the ID. Too bad this is a classic Post & Ghost- one (bad) photo and no real information then nothing. Bet he already has it posted on FB Marketplace for 2x scrap price. Heck, show him some cash and he'll probably throw in a spare tire for it... 😒

    John Deere "plow"

Some posts in the vein of 'part number tells you what machines it was used on'. Well... kinda yes and kinda no. What it really tells you is what parts catalog it is listed in, and that can sometimes be a significant distinction. This is a case where it's very likely academic. Even if this...

    John Deere "plow"

I think paul is on the right track. You have some of the remains of a disk tiller. Finding the rest of it would be a life-long odyssey. Best to sell that pile for scrap and buy/rent something useable.

    806 plowing video....

I watched your video and I appreciate you posting, but plowing videos on YouTube set my teeth on edge. The problem is the 'hook' in the furrow that develops- and gets bigger and bigger- with each pass. I guess I'm one of the last that actually took pride in straight rows and that extends back in...

    Ledger plate sharpening?

I used to sharpen ledger plates, but I had to quit- it was cutting into my nail-straightening time...

Which Cultivator do I need for my Farmall H?

AMF has answered your question, but I doubt the owner of a cultivator that will fit will know what model it is. Best bet is look for a cultivator that has been on an H or M. Do be aware that added weight on the front will make steering more difficult, so I wouldn't plan to leave it on. If you...

    Every hear of this?

I used to have that piece. Photo shows something I think in the 329/359/414 family. Not a bad idea- I remember a pickup truck at FPS with a Deere engine. A bit too heavy and slow (and maybe just a tad pricy) to ever catch on.

    Quick hitch part

You might have some luck if you try your search again but drop the final 'R'. I bet salvage yards will want to sell the complete hitch. You may wind up rebuilding what you have.

    'nother diamond question

I'm sorry you lost your heirloom, but I hope you- and all reading- have learned a lesson: Neither of you should be wearing the bands you slipped on each other's fingers way-back-when if you're working. It's a safety issue, as well as now a financial one. There are some really attractive silicone...

Limiting chain on a Deere 630 center link

Draft sensing was through the center link on those tractors. I wouldn't ask the center link or its attachment point to carry a vertical load. You might damage some internal mechanism. Sturdier attachment points at the axle housing.

    JD 5020 FUEL TANK REPLACEMENT

You might also check with this guy. He specializes in that family of tractors. Seems like there should be a fair few tanks around from converted pullers.

John Deere Van Brunt grain drill

I think it's an FB-B, judging by the (once) yellow lids and the double hoppers.

    GP 3 row implements

The planter would have the greater value if was complete. The way you describe it, it isn't or is in such poor condition it couldn't be made useable, so really sounds like start from scrap and hope for a bit more.

    Ugly deere

Looks like it's set up to drive across a river!
