1951 John Deere B Runs Away ( Governor Rebuilt )
Last fall i overrevved my B to the point it was running away and i had to pull the Mag wires. Every time i started it since then it's wanted to do the same thing. 1951 John Deere B Thrust Bearing
Currently attempting to rebuild the governor on my 51' John Deere B. On this year B one side of the race is pressed onto the brass sleeve that slides along the governor shaft. The bearings and other race slide freely along the brass sleeve. Every thrust bearing I've ordered ( stiener/ag parts )...- Spaldo
