    I will second the Case 1840/1845. Very reliable machines. Cummins 3.9, minimal electronics and hand controls. The older New Hollands are good too.

    ZTR mowers

    Kohler courage is price point engine. I have a Kohler command pro 26 fuel injection that I wouldn't trade for anything. Burns half the fuel, no choke, no cold starts. It's on a Great Dane Chariot LX. Awesome mower, too bad they sold out to Deere. I mow 9 acres a week. It has 1800 hours on it.

    Sealer For Cedar Shake Siding

    Big no on the Thompson water seal, unless you want to do it about 6 times a year. That stuff is about 99.5% water and a dribble of paraffin wax. Use a Sikkens or Cabot product.. I am a builder

    Actually a very nice tractor without the turbo. My uncle built one and it is used daily. 115hp.

    I've noticed that the industrials are a lot higher priced. I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts on converting a Dodge. There are many of them that have been wrecked with low miles. Don't want o get into a lot of pump trouble and want a governor that will work
