    I bought 2 of these thinking I got a bad one the first time but they both leak. Problem is the tube nut bottoms out against housing before seating the flare. This happens with both steel and plastic lines I made. The original seems ok with the same lines pictured. Do they make longer tube nuts...

    More updates. New shift rail balls and springs and Installed the shifter cover. Wire wheeled inside and outside of the nose. Treated the entire thing with Ospho. Primer and rattle can the inside. Outside I’ll sand a bit and use the roll on paint. Made all new fuel lines. Fabricobbled a plate...

    Mocking up the Cole Hersee battery disconnect and gear reduction starter. I’ll be switching the ground. The old direct drive starter had the ground direct to the case. I’m assuming the output of the disconnect will go to one of the gear reduction starter mounting bolts? I didn’t paint the...

    While freshening up my 71 Ford 3000 I run taps in all the holes to clean out years of stuff. I’m pretty sure the eight 3/4-10 holes on the sides of the tractor are for a loader frame. What are the two 5/8-11 on the front for? Weight bracket?

    I find the process therapeutic. I just turned 57 and celebrated first grandbaby. I wont make it to 102 but my dream is that my grandkids will be tinkering with the 3000 when she turns 100..
