    i agree with vet. but, my personal preference for a fun engine swap, is a red diamond 450 or 501 straight 6 gasser. less complicated kit, and you can work the engine lightly n still do more than a turboed 856. mite drink the fuel tho. lol

    i think a governor off 460,560,656,706,806 gas off the 6 cyl gassers are the same unit if you have the C200 engine

    anybody got photos of a fresh interior overhaul, or really fixed up a 1066 cabs interior? my 856 has a 1066 cab on it, no ac, does have heat, but fans r junk. love the cab, just a lil ratty on the inside n looking for ideas. plan to spend alot of hay time in this one.

    77 build up

    the reason I mention 318 pistons, is they have wrist pin clips stock. you can offset the bushing quite a bit, up, or down to perfect rod centerline distances. cyl head porting alone, with bigger valves to help feed it. 75-80 out of that ci could be an underestimate.     77 build up

    turn down the top sleeve flange so your not over boring the top of the block. May have to cut a little off the bottom of the sleeve too. ive put 88 sleeves in a S66 n its not bad to do n held water. look at dodge 318 pistons. 3.91 bore at 1.75 compression height.

    Reworking a m head for a super m

    dont spend alot on a 8060/8574, or even a 400-450 gas head. go over to the left n look up the reproduction 450LP cyl head. nice power gain, no underlaying cracks awaiting, or welded or pinned,,, lol.

    go over to the massey forum. "DavidG" showed some nice work on a massey 44 efi conversion n showed a trigger wheel setup. thought it was pretty neat!

    i always ran tube up thru the hood hole with the filter there. always ran fine.

    id belive the rd powered farmalls had steel flywheels being most of them probably bought the swap kit from Floyd. aint no room for cobbling on those types of beasts.

    in a deadweight pull, on asphalt or concrete, he could walk the dog over you, providing he doesnt break it in half, and he could do it at 60hp on his little tires.

    450 camshaft?

    the reproduction cams, all have left hand threads, and is the 450 profile. they pep a M up. they have em for sale on this site! get ya that, and a reproduction 450 LP head, your old M will run alot stronger! LP heads on this site too!
