Ford 3600, 1978, diesel, rear axle leak
Interesting. I tried to tighten the screw and see if it works. I lost about 1/2 a cup of oil in one day, so I will likely have to deal with it. It looks like the seal would need replacing and the gasket under the top plate, and just make sure that the screw is connected. Seems like a...- stacker

Ford 3600, 1978, diesel, rear axle leak
I have a 1978 Ford 3600, diesel. I recently drained the rear transmission, and refilled it to the level plug. There is a little plug below the level plug that has a flathead screw on the end, and it is leaking out of that. It isn't a big leak, but it is leaking consistently/constantly. I...- stacker
