Strange hydraulic problem on our Jubilee

The 3 point lift on our Jubilee would drift down. We tore it down, replaced gaskets, o rings, piston wiper and o ring, check valve ball, overload valve ball & pressure relief valve. We cleaned the valve spools and put it all back together. Now when the lift is up it is OK but if I stop it...

    Jubilee hydraulic check valve

Based on the diagrams I"ve found NAA part # 354069-S (page 5-12 Master Parts Catalog) or NH diagram #18 is the feed check valve for the lift cylinder. Am I wrong? What is the function for part # 353075-S (page 5-2 Master Parts Catalog) or NH diagram #26? Thanks

    Jubilee hydraulic check valve

Sean, Thanks again! Soundguy it is #18. I think this is the problem. We will see tomorrow when I visit my NH dealer and buy one. Have great evenings.

    Jubilee hydraulic check valve

Soundguy, thanks I considered that but I"m not sure the "plastic" ball is correct and it is messed up enough that I would have to estimate the dia. I"d like to replace it with at least the correct dia. Yep, the Master parts catalog gives a part #354069-s but no additional info.

    Jubilee hydraulic check valve

The 3 point would not stay up when the tractor was off so we got into the hydraulics. We cleaned the valve spools and replaced the pressure relief valve in the bottom of the case. When we took the check valve apart we did not find a steel ball or a glass ball (I heard sometimes it is glass) but...

    Radius Rods

When we fixed up our Jubilee the radius rods were bowed up. We flipped them over and used a bottle jack, chain and angle iron to spread the load. The photo shows how much past "straight" we had to go to compensate for the spring back.

    Lathe

Eight years ago I bought a Grizzly 9X20 lathe. The same lathe is sold by HF among others. As it turns out it was more of a kit. When I was done I added a 5" Bison 3 jaw chuck, quick change tool post, 4 bolt compound clamp and DC drive. I spent more on the improvements and tooling (maybe...

    Thanks to everyone

Big, Sorry but I got sick of tripping over it so it went to the scrap heap about 2 months ago. I did consider fixing it up but it was in rough shape. Forming the crank hole would of been tough.

    Thanks to everyone

Bought it on evil bay from Helms Farm Machinery. At the time they had the best price with shipping. It is steel about the same gauge as the original but did require work. I think it was made in Turkey. I considered a fiberglass one an am glad I went with steel.

Nope. The bumper that was on it was a mess and not OEM. It went to the scrap yard. I prefer the look without the bumper. She will never have to do a days work again so I left it off.

We finished fixing up our Jubilee. It only took 13 months! Anyhow, she runs fine looks good and could not have been done without considerable help from this forum. Have a happy 4th
