    JD MC no spark

    My MC is not getting any spark, and I would appreciate any input. It turns over, and has fresh fuel. I pulled a plug and held it to metal while turning it over and got no spark. I used a tester light and it lit up when touching either terminal on the coil. It lit up on the external wire...

    It doesn't do the best job but gets it done fast. 4th high at full throtle should be close to 15 mph. Possibly a little less. A molines top speed is around 20 mph in 5th high , but we also have taller tires on the rear. Scary as heck mowing un till you get use to it, this summer i'll have to...

    I use a 14ft bush hog on a 100 hp moline and probaly go around 15mph. Somethin like 4 acres an hour somebody told me. It also runs off of a 1000 rpm shaft if it makes a difference. Hope this helps. Steiger

    I imagine western tractor would just mean its been out west. Theres less rust problems and most of the time shedded. Its like buying a southern truck.

    Looks nice all except for them darn plastic coffe cans. Can't stand them. Wish they would've stayed with steel and i would'nt have to worry about meltin them on the exhaust. You ever had that problem?

    No snow here in Seneca County NY. Rain made sure to leave a muddy mess and fill the ditches in some places over the roads. Felt like spring today. Gettin eager to shoot some woodchucks. Anybody else?

    Steiger cougar or JD8640 or 8630

    We got a Cougar 3 with the Cat. Sometin about this new fuel, it doesn't pull as good. If your buying a steiger i'd go one with a cummins. Just my opinion.
