    First things first. Check to see if the starter drive is locked up and engaged. You should be able to see between the tin shroud and the starter drive. Look at the starter drive to see if it is engaged to the flywheel ring gear.

    PEERLESS 2300 SERIES TRANSAXEL

    Latest model square fender JD 112 with hydraulics should have one. The transaxle should have a tag on it that says 2317 - that"s the only 2300-series Peerless model with limited slip.
